Job Description

Recruit 121 are working exclusively with a specialist Hi-Tech company to find the new Finance Director as they continue the great growth they have seen over the years. It will be a hands on role with particular emphasis on the strategy going forward and will be perfect for someone who likes to work in and promote a great culture within the workplace.As the Finance Director you will lead the Finance function, providing direction, management and leadership in all commercial and financial areas including but not limited to: business analysis, reporting, accounting, planning, contract review & analysis,control and risk management whilst implementing strategic practices that support the growth of the Group. You will be confident in delivering financial results and will be an active and contributing member of the Senior Leadership Team.Your key responsibilities will include:

Drive a performance culture through the management of the Finance Function utilising clearly defined Objectives and Key Results
Oversee the financial management of the business Ensuring financial compliance to all relevant legal and statutory requirements
Support the MD & CCO with commercial and strategic decision making
Be an active member of the Senior Leadership Team
Lead on all aspects of transformation programmes within the Finance Function
Oversee and review the production of monthly management information and key financial indicators
Setting performance measures, KPIS and budgets for the Finance Function and reporting on them to the board

To do this job well you will have previous experience at Director level and leading a finance function in a fast growing business. Your experience should also include:

Excellent technical accounting knowledge from completing your ACA, ACCA or CIMA accounting qualification
International trade, particularly dealing with the Netherlands and USA, would be advantageous
Multi- currency experience
Experience of working in a small to medium sized business to comprehend the full reporting process
Experienced leader with the ability to lead on strategic initiatives whilst working with a range of colleagues across the business.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders
Commercial and contractual decision support at board level
Robust planning and deadline management
Experience in strategic planning, analysis and scenario creations
