Job Description

Global business situated near Norwich is looking to appoint an Assistant Management accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will assist the management accounts team to ensure that management information is delivered in an accurate and timely mannerto meet internal deadlines.Responsibilities:

Assist with the production of monthly management accounts, which includes posting of journals, calculation of accruals and prepayments, margins review
Assist with uploading of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for relevant companies
Variance analysis where required
Providing internal analysis reports
Assist with balance sheet reconciliations including inter-company accounts and transactions; flagging issues and communicate these to the Finance Business Partner.
Assist in improving reporting and accounts production process
Assist with the year-end process and assist in dealing with audit queries
Other ad hoc duties and projects as required

You will be a self-starter, eager to learn and progress with strong IT skills for communication and documentation (ie. Excel, Outlook, and Word) You will be studying either ACA/ACCA/CIMA or be AAT part qualified. Experience of multi-currency ledgers andforeign exchange is an advantage but not essential.
