Experienced Mortgage & Protection AdviserEmployedEast Midlands / NottinghamOTE £50,000 paAt Rhodes Wealth Management (RWM) we pride ourselves on excellent customer service and putting our clients at the heart of everything we do. We are a respected Senior Practice of St Jamess Place looking after thousands of households predominately in Derbyshireand Nottinghamshire.As a Mortgage & Protection Adviser you will join an established advice team to work with our existing wealth managers to offer panel mortgages and protection to our existing clients. We have forged a relationship with a premier estate agency in Nottinghamand you will receive warm leads with a view to contact these clients to offer excellent customer service with a very fast turn around time so the clients can purchase the property of their dreams.The successful candidate will have a strong working understanding of the current mortgage market, as well as being able to demonstrate excellent business development and client acquisition skills. A measure for success of the role will be the ability toidentify and refer wealth and pension opportunities successfully back into the wealth management side of the business.In return, we have a team of Wealth Managers looking to refer you mortgage leads. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a proven record of delivering outstanding client outcomes.Longer term there will be ample opportunity to progress upwards to become a Wealth Manager within the business, as well as support to achieve the candidates Level 4 qualification (if not already achieved).Your key responsibilities will include:

• Positively interacting with prospects and clients to provide the best mortgage and protection advice available
• Identifying suitable products using the company sourcing systems
• Documenting all client interactions using the company CRM systems
• Supporting members of the team to ensure collective goals are reached
• Communicating effectively internally and externally
• Actively seek referrals into the wealth management business

We are looking for:

• Previous experience in a mortgage and protection specific role
• Proven degree of success in a similar role
• Pro-active, motivated, and used to setting ambitious personal goals
• Able to identify, develop and nurture professional introducer opportunities
• Used to going the extra mile for your clients
• Able to build great relationships with clients and the rest of the team
• Expert technical knowledge of the mortgage and protection market
• CeMAP or equivalent with a desire to do higher level exams if not already obtained
• Strong team player with a can-do attitude towards the daily challenges of a busy Practice and/or Estate Agency

Your reward package:

• We are open to providing this role on either an employed or self-employed basis, dependent on the candidate preference
• Employed status: £20K basic salary, plus 25% of IAF written for first £75K, then this increases in increments up to 60% IAF based on production. OAF - 50% of what is received from the adviser. OTE circa £50K in the first year anticipated.Pension and benefits package provided, including 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
• Self-employed status: IAF 80% / OAF 50% of what is received from the adviser.
• Hour of work: Full time
• Training: We will support your career aspirations to progress towards being CII Level 4 qualified in Financial Planning should this be desired.
• Location: You will be required to work from the office a minimum of one day a week, the remainder can be work from home should you wish. The main areas covered are Derby & Nottingham, therefore you will need to be within a reasonable proximityto travel to both.
