Job Description

We are recruiting for a Marketing Assistant for an established and successful partner practice of St. Jamess Place Wealth Management based in Brailsford, DerbyRole overviewWe are recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate Marketing Assistant to join our successful team and support the growth of the business. The role itself will be varied and challenging, providing opportunity to work with several different teams acrossthe business. Therefore, previous experience in Marketing or indeed, Financial Services is not a prerequisite for the role.The company loves to engage with clients through a mixture of informative events, and the delivery of these events plays an important part of the client offering. Supporting the Managing Director, the Marketing Assistant will play an important part in theorganisation of these exciting and varied events.The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be organised and have the confidence to solve problems as they arise. A confident telephone manner will also be required when liaising with clients over the phone.Candidates with marketing, administrative or client servicing skills are welcome to apply. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.Role responsibilitiesThe role is very wide ranging and will very much depend on the successful candidates skills and experience, and shall include the following:

  • Working with the Managing Director to help coordinate/support the Practices Marketing Strategy.
  • Contributing to the upkeep of the company website and uploading client testimonials.
  • Owning the Practices Net Promoter Score client feedback function. This will involve proactively calling existing clients and requesting feedback on their client meeting with their financial adviser using a generic 1-10 scoring system.
  • Supporting a wide range of company events; including educational and social activities throughout the year.
  • Client contact / liaison to coordinate event attendance.
  • Coordinating client communication campaigns and gifting.
  • Become familiar with our internal CRM systems to utilise these as a marketing tool.
  • Administration support as and when required.
  • Analysing internal data and providing reports to Senior Management.

Additional information:
  • Salary: £20-25K per annum (dependant on skills and experience)
  • Bonus: Discretionary bonus linked to personal progression, and both personal and business performance
  • Training: Scope for training and progression within marketing or financial services (depending on candidate preference).
  • Hours of work: 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
  • Office location: Brailsford, Derbyshire (DE6 3)
  • Work location: Office based minimum of three days a week. Home based opportunity for two days a week post training period (During initial training full time hours in office required to get up to speed in the role with support).
  • Holiday entitlement: 20 days per annum, plus bank holidays (increases over time)
  • Pension: Generous pension provided
