Senior Application Support Analyst£500-575 per day inside IR35, Financial Services,2 days in West London office / 3 days from homeDo you want to work with the UKs largest supplier of foreign currency and a top 5 currency wholesaler globally And enjoy 3 days working from home Then Read on!As a Senior Application Support Analyst, you will provide a customer-driven service to ensure all issues and requests are progressed and resolved quickly and efficiently; liaising with team members to identify resolutions and escalate where necessary. Application Support Analyst key responsibilities:* Provide Application / 3rd line support for all tickets (e.g. IIS and Microsoft software applications)* Monitor the application environment and work with relevant development, architecture, infrastructure and server teams to ensure performance and robustness of applications and environment* Help coordinate with production releases using the defined change control processes* Perform Technical SME role for supported applications* Maintain all support documentation, in a clear and detailed manner* Help automate existing health checks* Liaise with team members and external suppliers to identify resolutions to outstanding tickets and escalate where necessary* Provide ideas, plan and support the implementation of processes, improvements to ensure greater effectiveness of the support teamAs an Experienced Application Support Analyst you will have:* Proven Application Support Experience (IIS and Microsoft Applications)* Experience in monitoring and alerting* Knowledge of database technologies including SQL, T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS* Knowledge in Microsoft environment such as Azure, PowerApps, Microsoft BizTalk or Dynamics 365, AX or recognised finance applications* Experience in API, microservices, web technologies and IIS and port numbersIt is beneficial (not essential) if Senior Application Support Analysts have:* A good understanding of network protocols* Exposure in Java, Apache Tomcat, and other middleware products such as MQ* Knowledge languages such as: XML, XSLT, XPATH, JSON and XSD* Any experience with: DevOps, C#, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, and CSSThis is a fantastic opportunity for a mid to senior level Application Support Analyst to join a friendly, collaborate team where a great working culture is part of the DNA.Day rate between £500-575pd inside IR35, subsidised restaurant, flexible working and discounts off numerous financial products and services.Apply Now!Insight Recruitment Group is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability, national origin, veteran status, orany other basis covered by appropriate law.
