Job Description

ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT-PAYROLL ADMIN BRENTFORDSALARY UP TO £25,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCEOur client is a construction company that requires an Accounts Assistant to join their busy team based in Brentford.The role of the Accounts Assistant involves the following tasks.Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining all aspects of the weekly payroll process (Umbrella, LTDS)
  • Timesheet processing (Process London and other regions / Check Yorkshire)
  • Deductions cover
  • Reporting and distribution to umbrella companies
  • Query resolution
  • Check, and distribute all invoices as per set processes each week for all invoiced clients, and distribute adjustments report, and invoicing file ready for uploading to SAGE
  • Maintain Invoice/Application tracker to ensure all COS items have been reconciled and passed to the client via an invoice/application.
  • Preparing and submitting Monthly applications based on T/S processed during the prior month.
  • Reconcile and distribute Crossrail invoices each week, and process any corrections in time for month end payment.
  • Create Engie invoices linked to the cost summaries for Bond Street, SC1, and ALS work, and upload into Coupa.
  • Credit Control - Assisting the Credit control function in resolving queries/making corrections in relation to invoices/statements to secure prompt payment.
  • Maintaining Files and Folder structures in the accounts mailbox and shared files, as well as keeping the filing cabinets organized and easy to locate.
  • Undertaking other accounts tasks as instructed - including assisting with the Purchase ledger entries/payments and assisting with the Bank rec postings.
  • Assisting other staff members and providing holiday cover for other tasks as required.
