Financial Controller opportunity within a successful growing SME Group offering managerial responsibility over all aspects of accounts & finance and long-term career progression.THE COMPANYThis established SME Group has invested heavily in its team and core operations, developing new product and service offerings to customers nationally. The business is continually expanding and turnover and profits have doubled within the past 5 years.The business consists of established operations across multiple sites, and serves long-standing customers across the UK within a wide range of industries. Continued growth in core markets and expansion into new areas are key elements of the Groups ongoingstrategy.THE OPPORTUNITYTo secure ongoing and future growth the Board now seeks to appoint an experienced Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) into a newly created position as Financial Controller.Joining the Group at an exciting phase in its growth, your role will involve managing the finance function, supporting the FD and MD and business partnering with Senior Management across all business operations.As Financial Controller your responsibilities will include:

Managing and developing the finance department of a growing SME Group comprising manufacturing and haulage operations across multiple sites
Production of Monthly Management Accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow for all companies within the Group
Preparation of Board Reports including presentation of sales and margin analysis by product, customer, market segment and geographical territory
Maintenance of robust financial controls and processes across the business
Preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans together with the Board & Senior Management Team
Monitoring costs and expenditure

THE PERSONYou will be a Senior Finance Professional capable of demonstrating the following:

Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Finance Management experience within a growing privately owned SME business (at least 3 - 5 years)
Strong character, capable of supporting a dynamic board as they implement and drive through changes and improvements which will deliver growth
Team management and leaderships experience
