Our client is a childrens charity that serves as a safe place for all children to come and play. As well as a seven-acre park and playground situated in Bloomsbury, London, they also have after school; and holiday programme and sports development programme,a youth centre and an early years programme. They are excited to be recruiting for the new role of Facilities Worker - Sports and Open Spaces. As a Facilities Worker, you will be an integral part of the grounds team, responsible for the day-to-day smooth runningand maintenance of their sports facilities and changing areas.Role Summary You will be an integral part of a team responsible for the day-to-day smooth running and maintenance of park and its sports facilities, including our clients three eight a side 3G football pitches, basketball court and sports changing rooms. This is a veryvaried and fully operational role within the wider grounds and gardens team, and will involve a good deal of manual work, often outdoors.Our clients sports facilities form an important part of their seven-acre site, providing opportunities for children and young people to gain essential access to high quality sports facilities for free, removing barriers to sports participation for localyoung people.
