Job Description

Food & Beverage SupervisorImperial London Hotels Group 40 hours (5 out of 7 days weekly rota)£24,960 + Benefits Imperial London Hotels opened their doors to guests in Bloomsbury, Central London since 1837. All that time they have been operating as an independent family business, providing a warm welcome to those who stay in one of their Russell Square based Hotels.ImperialLondon Hotels currently operates seven 3 & 4-star hotels in the heart of Bloomsbury. Independent and family owned, ILH has a unique heritage and culture that remains its foundation as it evolves and modernises. The portfolio includes The Royal National Hotelwhich remains UK largest hotel with over 1,600 rooms. The Bedford Hotel, The City Sleeper, The President Hotel, The Tavistock Hotel, The Morton Hotel and The Holliday Inn, Bloomsbury.Following a major refurbishment, The Imperial Hotel will open as ILH flagship 4* Deluxe Hotel in 2024.We are currently recruiting for Food & Beverage Supervisors based in the heart of Bloomsbury to join our vibrant and multi-cultural team. What you will be doingAs a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in delivering an exceptional level of dining experiences for our guests. You will be supervising your F&B teams with daily operations in our Food & Beverage department andsupport in developing our teams by leading by example and setting the standard to ensure that our guests expectations are exceeded. Working with the F&B management team to help in creating an exciting work environment for the team to deliver great resultsand the highest standards of food and beverage, stock management, health and safety and guest satisfaction consistently on each shift.Key Duties will include the following:

  • Receive and respond to all customer feedback and complaints including check customer satisfaction regularly, ensuring all guest feedback is dealt with in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Oversee the service of food and beverages within the outlets and maintain overall responsibility for the kitchen, food preparation and beverage service throughout the outlets.
  • Take responsibility for stock, including ordering, acceptance, and maintenance of stock levels and stock rotation, and return of any sub-standard items.
  • Review sales and beverage costs for previous day; resolve discrepancies with Accounts. Track actual against budget. Inspect, plan and ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service; rectify deficiencies with respective personnel.
What we would like from you
  • Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor or similar experience.
  • Experience in people management and delivering a high quality of customer service.
  • Food Safety or Food Hygiene qualification Level 2 or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage such as latest drinks and stock management
  • Minimum intermediate level use of MS Office (Word, Excel)
