Job Description

So, what will I be doingAs a Procurement Assistant - Fruit & Ingredients, you will be joining the Procurement team in a distinctive, ambitious and trusted food manufacturing company that is committed to making great British dairy the right way. Working closely with suppliers, and Yeo Valley colleagues, you will manage the day-to-day administration of our fruit contracts getting a real insight into our raw material supply chains. You will support new and existing product development, managing sample and commercial requests and administration of our key projects and monthly meetings. You will work closely with our Fruit and Ingredients Buyer to provide procurement updates and market information packs to the wider business.This is a full-time, 10 month Fixed Term Contract roleKey responsibilities will include:

Supporting fruit contracting - obtaining supplier price quotes and providing commercial impact analysis for new contracts and projects.

Providing meeting support - co-ordinating meetings, developing meeting notes and actions, and ensuring key action completion.

Providing market and fruit contract analysis to the procurement team and wider business.

Supporting the development of the annual raw materials budgets and re-forecasts, and providing monthly variance reporting and analysis.

Supporting our procurement, customer and development teams with new raw materials sourcing for NPD and EPD activity - requesting and reviewing key commercial information and requesting product samples.
