Job Description

So, what will I be doingThis is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to lead and develop a shift Engineering team. Working at our biggest production facility in Blagdon, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of Production equipment by leading and developing a team of 10 engineers on your shift.Key responsibilities will include:

Taking a lead role in managing any situations where business integrity, people safety, environmental impact or plant and or assets may be at risk or be adversely effected for any reason

Delivering a high performing team through effective coaching and mentoring

Managing and supporting personal development, succession planning, task training and general attendance and performance

Understanding customer requirements (internal & external) to ensure effective deployment of resources

Ensuring that food safety and quality standards are effectively delivered and monitored

Engaging, promoting and supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives

Managing site assets through effective use and interaction with CMMS, stores and administration function to deliver planned and unplanned activities

Ensuring team members are suitably trained
