  • Full Time, Permanent
  • £24,200 increasing to £25,300 on completion of probationary period (6 months)
  • £27,000 annual OTE, including bonus

Our services are currently being used by most of the UK’s top retail motor groups, independent dealers,and national leasing companies.This Transport Planner role is a great prospect as it offers the opportunity to work in a growing company, with a supportive environment, comprehensive training, and the potential for career development.About the role:As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for planning the working day of a dedicated team of drivers, coordinating the collection and delivery of cars across the UK. Working closely with the Planning & Administration teams, you will ensure the bestpossible service is delivered to customers while supporting the overall success of the business.Key responsibilities include:
  • Efficiently planning the daily schedules of drivers
  • Coordinating collection and delivery of vehicles across the UK
  • Communicating with stakeholders via telephone and email
  • Utilising PC skills, including proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and Word
  • Paying meticulous attention to detail in all planning activities
Who or client is looking for:While previous planning experience is desired, it is not essential as our client offers a comprehensive training program.The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder communication.
  • Collaboration with Planning & Administration teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • PC literacy with proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
  • Comprehensive training program provided, previous transport or planning experience preferred but not essential.
  • Good knowledge of UK geography advantageous.
  • Attention to detail is a key requirement for the role.
