Job Description

On behalf of a well-respected and growing construction consultancy, an Architectural Technician is needed to join their team in Leicester.The role of the Architectural TechnicianThis is a great opportunity to work as part of an experienced, professional, and multi-disciplinary team.The Architectural Technician will lead / assist in the preparation and monitoring of planning and building control applications and lead and participate in the production of technical drawings, specifications, and schedules for the development of buildingprojects.The Architectural Technician will liaise with Structural and Civil Engineers on a daily basis to produce co-ordinated building packages. They will also review and comment on Consultants design reports and other design information as required.The Architectural TechnicianThe Architectural Technician will ideally have:

A portfolio of work and experience working as an Architectural Technician
Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD & 3D rendering software (SketchUp and Lumion)
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, building systems and construction types
Experience working on both commercial and residential schemes
Ability to work both as an individual and part of a team
Have a strong work ethic and provide attention to detail
A Full UK Driving Licence
