Installation Engineer| Global travel required | Permanent | Up to £36,000We are recruiting in the UK for an engineering team for Voortman Steel Group. We are looking for and engineer withaMechanicalbias,Electrical,PneumaticsandHydraulicsexperience wouldcertainly be advantageous also.Working in a team of 4-8 Engineers (depending on the size of the job), you will TRAVEL anywhere in the world for 3 weeks at a time, installing machines or components for a GlobalMachineManufacturing business. So, you will be away for 3 weeks.You will then travel home and have 1 week off, before travelling back to the site, or a different site, depending on the size of the job. So before applying you must ensure you are happy to travel the world. Which is obviously a fantastic perk in itselfas you will have evenings and weekends to explore.Receiving world class training, you will be given the knowledge and tools to:Prepare and coordinate withSenior Installation Engineers orSite Supervisors for each installation project to be performed on site and the set schedule.Install: Install the machine (line) in accordance with established schedule. Setting up, aligningand assembling the machine (line) on customer location and connecting cabling. Identifyingbottlenecks, both technical and planning, to Site Supervisor or SeniorInstallationEngineer.Reporting: Relates to the recording hours worked. Registering CIM issues in SharePoint. Verbal reporting to Senior Installation Engineer or Site Supervisor on installation work.Process Improvement: Involves identifying and reporting improvements based on own observation, signals from customers or signals from the organisation.Quality: Checking your own work, including taking measurements. Adequate installation ofmachine(line) within the specifiedplanning.
