Clinical Sales SpecialistMidlands - as a base for travel to main hospitals and high intensive care centres across UK – Manchester, London, Glasgow, Bristol etc. with travel links to Ireland and Scandinavia.Up to £45,000 + £850 monthly car allowance + bonus and other benefitsMon – Fri, 37.5 hours per week. Core office hours are 08.45 – 17.00 My client, a global diagnostics company, have a rare opportunity for a Clinical Sales Specialistto join their team. Responsibilities of the Clinical Sales Specialist will be:• Promotion of my client’s products and services – mainly in vitro and diagnostics• Sales focus on clinical products specific to UK, Ireland and Scandinavia regions • Grow direct revenue for clinical products in UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia regions • Maintenance of existing customer business • Generate and qualify sales leads to seek new customers and expand product sales • Visit customer premises and provide customer technical support • Calibrate customer instrumentation on site • Follow up sales activities to ensure customer satisfactionThe purpose of the role is the promotion of sales, including my client’s products and services to new and existing customers. You will be responsible for seeking out new business and maintaining existing business for clinical diagnostic products. There willalso be a requirement to provide technical support to customers in UK, Ireland and Scandinavia regions.The ideal candidate for Clinical Sales Specialist will have:• A BSc or equivalent in Biomedical, Clinical Sciences or Microbiology or any other Scientific degree • Sales experience in In vitro Diagnostics/ Clinical Diagnostics – experience selling or supporting products in IVD field OR Life science sales and technical support representative with background in clinical sciences, experience with laboratory diagnosticassays.• Experience of working with the NHS in a commercial setting - desirable• The position is for sales Ireland and Scandinavia (in addition to the UK) so experience in these regions would be advantageous but not essential. • Experience working in a technical capacity with IVD technologies and familiar with fungal diagnostics.
