Job Description

Job TitleSub Project Manager Employment Type:Contract Estimated Duration- 12 months This role has been deemed inside of IR35Location:WarringtonSummary:An incredible new opportunity has become available to have the chance of working alongside a leading engineering consultancy that specialises in the development of key nuclear projects across the UK and world driven by a talented work force of experienced nuclearexperts. The need is for you as a sub project manager to work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines, particularly the senior project manager on the development of key projects. The opportunity will allow you as a sub project manager to becomeresponsible for the overall implementation of major projects by co-ordinating and liaising with other disciplines to drive the project delivery.

  • Do you have previous experience working as a sub project manager within a highly regulated industry
  • Do you have experience of pricing work, significant bids to clients, or delivery of significant projects to time and cost in a commercial environment.

  • You will need experience of major projects, ideally including experience of governance approvals and stakeholder environment.
  • You will need experience of pricing work, significant bids to clients, or delivery of significant projects to time and cost in a commercial environment.
  • Experience of engineering delivery across the project lifecycle and across all engineering functions including security and safety case, doesn’t require an engineering specialism pr deep technical knowledge-however needs sufficient experience to lead inan engineering environment.
  • Ideally you will have a good understanding of engineering maturity particularly around HAZOP and detail design gate.
  • Understanding of the challenges of project delivery across the lifecycle, i.e from design through to commissioning and handover
  • You will be required to meet certain residency criteria to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance.
