Howarth Morris are looking to recruit a Commercially focussed Finance Business Partner for a global organisation based in Warrington. The business is a leading provider to customers across a wide range of sectors including nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceutical,energy and utilities markets.The RoleThe Finance Business Partner offers strategic guidance to operational business units. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be an integral part of the finance team, working closely with key stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-makingacross the organization. This role collaborates closely with all non-financial departments to foster business enhancements and reinforce overall financial control. You will be responsible for driving profitability, optimizing financial performance, and contributingto the overall success of the organisation.Key Responsibilities* Collaborate closely with Commercial Managers and Regional Operations Directors to offer financial insights aimed at enhancing business profitability.* Deliver timely and precise financial analysis and management data to stakeholders outside of the finance department.* Collaborate with the commercial team to assess month-end reporting for contractual agreements.* Comprehend and minimize the working capital needs of the business sector through monthly reviews of debt and Work in Progress (WIP), and by influencing contract and bid payment terms.* Establish yourself as the trusted Finance partner for commercial and operational stakeholders.* Attend commercial reviews to enhance processes and drive actionable outcomes.* Support the continuous improvement process for margin enhancement, presenting data-driven evidence of progress and facilitating knowledge sharing among regions.* Assist in the budgeting and rolling forecast process, ensuring the establishment and achievement of balanced yet ambitious targets.* Review estimates and tenders to validate margin projections and cash flow forecasts.* Champion change and improvement within the department and across broader business operations.* Provide support for ad hoc projects and transformation initiatives as required.Experience & Qualifications* CIMA, ACCA OR ACA Qualified.* Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or similar role.* Strong commercial acumen.* Financial analysis and modelling skills.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to challenge stakeholders.* Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and build strong working relationships.* Proficiency in financial software and various ERP systems. SAP Preferred.
