Job Description

Digital Marketing ManagerBirchwood, WarringtonFull time permanentA fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join a fast paced growing international organisation. This role is a senior position focusing on the growth of the business in Europe and leading the European sideof any global opportunities.Core purpose of the role:

  • To manage the start-up and ongoing performance of our clients digital marketing activities in the UK and Europe, in a B2B environment.
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
  • Manage and create and marketing campaigns and content strategy.
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Fluent in an European language is highly desirable
Key Deliverables
  • Responsible for the delivery of a digital marketing function in Europe and the UK to support growth against budgeted targets.
  • To grow the pipeline of sales leads for the company, the target is that half our sales pipeline comes from the web and digital marketing. Currently 8% is from prospecting the target is 50%.
  • Create monthly KPI on the performance of campaigns in terms of website hits and conversion to pipeline leads.
  • Monitoring and making improvements to improve SEO.
  • First page on Google for selected key search words.
  • Increase followers by 10% per year.
  • Work closely with the Communication Team in the creation of content.
Experience required:
  • Degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, 2 - 4 years minimum
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua etc.)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Autonomous self-starter
  • Analysis of campaign, advert, and audience performance to inform optimization
  • Proficiency in using WordPress
  • Experience in copy writing for digital campaigns, video production skills and website design and development
