Job Description

Job Title:CS&A Designer Employment Type:Contract Estimated Duration- 12 months with opportunity to be extended This role has been deemed inside of IR35Location:WarringtonSummary:An incredible opportunity has arisen to be a part of a leading engineering consultancy that specialises in the nuclear industry across both the UK and worldwide with a talent force of thousands. The need is for an experienced designer to be responsible forthe development of all design processes. The opportunity is for someone to work with CS&A engineers to help develop a suitable design for the project.

  • Development of the architectural 3D Revit model
  • You will attend regular model reviews / space management meetings and be able to represent their discipline andpresent their model at these.Work closely with CS&A Engineers / Architects and designers from other disciplines to co-ordinate thedevelopment of the model.
  • Produce 2D AutoCAD GA and detail drawings from the model as design progresses through Preliminaryand Detailed Design.
  • Work with CS&A Engineers and Architects on Specifications.
  • Be competent with Fulfilling the Designer role under the CDM Regulations.
Key qualifications and skills:
  • You need architectural technology HND or degree qualified
  • Experienced in using Revit for 3D and AutoCAD for 2D
  • You will have experience in layout development and architectural detailing and specifying (cladding, roofing, finishes, partitions, stairs, modular builds)
  • You must have working knowledge of CDM
