Job Description

Job TitleEC&I DesignersEmployment TypeContract Estimated Duration- 12 months. This role has been deemed inside of IR35.LocationWarringtonThe OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has become available to have the chance of working with a well-established engineering consultancy, to help drive the development of key projects across the UK in a team of nuclear specialists. The need for you as an EC&I designer isto provide input and guidance from the engineering design team, engineering design work packages (specification, drawing, analysis, verification, and assessment of engineering).

  • Are you an experienced engineer with an electrical background
  • Do you have significant experience in the use of AutoCAD
  • Would you be interested in joining a team of like-minded engineers to provide your support to the development of key nuclear projects spanning across the UK

  • You will be responsible for the input of all design work, by liaising with the design team to help develop all design work packages.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
  • You will need significant experience in the use of AutoCAD.
  • You must have significant demonstrable experience in CE&I project delivery.
  • Experience of the design delivery of building electrical services including lighting and small power.
  • Experience of the design delivery of CE&I Instrumentation.
  • Previous experience of the design delivery of security systems.
  • You will need to be competent in the application of CDM regulations.
  • Competent in the application of IET wiring regulations.
  • Experience of space management, cable routing and cable management.
  • You will have the ability to work as part of an integrated delivery team, and individually, working within sometimes restrictive time constraints.
  • Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
  • You will need to have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
  • Have a minimum ONC in the appropriate discipline.
It’s great if you also have the following:
  • Ideally you will have experience with Radiometric systems.
  • Experience delivering against BS 61508.
  • Preferably you will be experienced in the use of Autodesk Revit.
  • Experience in the use of AVIVA.
  • Experience in the use of CIMAGE/ DM Desktop.
