Job Description

Adele Carr is recruiting for a Birchwood-based client to recruit a Part-Time Administrator to join an established team. This is a part-time, permanent role within a longstanding local client, that has an exceptionally low staff turnover rate. A working week of between 20-25 hours.We have worked with this client for over 10 years, placing over 15 candidates over this time as the business has grown and developed. You will be joining a warm and welcoming team within an engineering business that looks after its staff.We are searching for a candidate with experience in a computer-based office role such as Administration, Coordination, Scheduling etc.Salary & Benefits:

  • Starting salary of £23,000 per annum (pro-rata)
  • Part-time hours 20-25 hours - Flexible on the hours (Could be 5 days; 4-5 hours or 3 full days Depending on the successful candidates preference)

What will be expected of you: All aspects of administration to support the Manager and External Sales Engineers. Includes but is not limited to:
  • Answering the telephone and directing calls, or taking messages as required
  • Dealing with orders and order-tracking queries
  • Receiving and processing customer purchase orders
  • Processing service reports from field engineers
  • Absence and overtime reporting
  • Processing over-the-phone credit card payments
  • Following training, the potential to be able to deal with basic sales and technical enquiries
