Job IntroductionApprentice week has begun and Gleeson are recruiting multiple joiner apprentices to join our passionate, collaborative and respectful teams out on site. Reporting directly to the Site Manager you will be carrying out general carpentry and joinery dutieson all stages of the construction of Gleeson developments.Please note this advertisement is for the location specified only, if you would like to apply for multiple locations then please apply via the specific vacancy advertisement.Role Responsibility

Working as part of a team of joiners on all stages of construction
Work is often at height on scaffolding, therefore you need to be good with heights
Undertaking snagging and remedials
Maintaining of tools and materials
Being an effective part of the site team
Committed and hardworking, as at times the work can be physically demanding
One day per week at a local College to obtain am Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery

Working Hours:

39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm
Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm
One day per week or block release at a local College to obtain am Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery

The Ideal Candidate

Enjoys outdoor working
Physically capable
Must have a minimum Grade 4 / C GCSE, or equivalent, in Maths and English
Prepared to travel to site
Access to own transport (desirable)
