Job Description

Clear Sky Recruitment are pleased to be the recruiter of choice for a well established business based in Caerphilly. On there behalf we are seeking a gate / automation engineer to join there existing team on a permanent basis.Main duties are to install and upgrade existing clients gate automation systems providing a first-class service to all. This is a demanding physical role within a very technical team. Team members are expected to be adaptable, proactive, hardworking, agood problem solver and have excellent communication skills. This role may require you to travel the UK and stay away from home.Responsibilities:

Installation of new gates and gate automation systems
Upgrading existing gate automation systems
To the commissioning and handover of installed systems to clients
Fault finding of gate automation systems
Installation & fault finding on Intercom Systems
To maintain a clean and tidy van, and ensure all tools are maintained to a high standard
Any duties that the company deem the Gate Installation Engineer as competent to carry out
Fill out all appropriate paperwork
Observe all Health and Safety guidelines to ensure safety of ones self and others
Manage own time on jobs to ensure maximum efficiency
Communicate progression with Head Office
Share best practice and knowledge with other team members
Promote a positive company image at all times

Requirements:

At least 1 years experience in a similar role (Gate or Automation)
Technically minded
Adaptable and ready for a challenge
Able to plan and work on own
Excellent communicator
Able to work away when required to do so

Package:

£28,000 - £32,000
Van and fuel card
40 hour week
Fully expensed if working away from home
