They are based in Bedfordshire, equidistant from Northampton & Milton Keynes, and have big plans to expand over the next 5 years.Reporting to the directors both locally through to the European group parent company of this £50m t/o business, youll join their small friendly finance team. As the Financial Controller, you will lead the team.As a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) youll take responsibility for a wide range of financial and accounting duties; including but not limited to, improving processes, forecasting, budgeting, providing good team management, giving the business more insight,raising the profile of the business and establishing a good team culture.You will be comfortable getting stuck in and rolling up your sleeves helping drive the business forward.This role offers 1 day per week working from home and very flexible hours. You can start early/early finish, condensed hours etc so that commitments and hobbies work for you. Working hours are 40 hours, the company are big on work-life balance and dont askfor over this.Its assumed the successful candidate is a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).with a demonstrable track record leading & developing finance teams in an SME environment.Distinct Recruitment Privacy Policy
