Role: Lead Senior Support WorkerSalary: £10.05 per hourLocation: BatheastonDo you have a passion for helping othersAre you looking to take the next step in our social care careerUnited Response is looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our busy supported living service in Batheaston.The serviceThis is a fantastic service that supports two young gentlemen to live their busy, active lives as independently as possible. In part due to the fantastic person-centred approach of our Support Workers, the two people we support are able to live busy social lives that requires its own google calendar!A Lead Senior Support WorkerAs a Lead Senior Support Worker you would have a wide and varied role that includes:

  • Supporting a staff team with the day to day running of the service
  • Mentoring new and existing staff
  • Ensuring good practice is adhered to
  • Maintaining and updating relevant documentation
  • Standard Support Worker duties
  • Creating a fun and person-centred environment
  • What we’re looking forWe are looking for a Lead Senior Support Worker who has the ability to adapt and think on their feet in order to meet the needs of the people we support. As you would be a key member of the management team you must have previous experience of working within social care and with individuals who have autism. To ensure that the people we support can access the community in all the ways they want, you should hold a full drivers licence and access to your own vehicle. If you can combine these skills and qualities with the willingness to teach and mentor others, you will make a great Lead Senior Support Worker.United ResponseUnited Response is a leading disability charity that supports individuals with a range of learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health needs and autism.
