Job Description

Do you love the great outdoorsOur client is looking for a Horticultural Operative to work at their busy, energetic tree nursery on the outskirts of Soham on a full-time contract. From £8.98 per hour.The working week will be Mon-Fri 08:00 - 16:30 with overtime/weekend work may be required from time to time. Overtime paid at time and a half.The successful candidate will initially work in the Production department as part of a small team. Other work may be available in a variety of other departments within the business as required on a rotational basis covering key areas within the businessand gaining new skills and knowledge along the way.Key areas are of the business are:

Production
Despatch
Field Production
Quality Control

You will be working to targets whilst ensuring your department continues to deliver a high standard product expected by our customers.The Horticultural Operative role is of a physical nature and requires you to work both inside and outside in all conditions and this will include the winter months.We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, is self-motivated and has a keen eye for detail.Requirements

You must have a genuine interest in Horticulture but also understand that this work is not Gardening.
Full Clean Drivers license essential.
Agricultural machinery experience preferred although not essential as full training will be provided.
PA1 and PA6 qualification preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
