Job Description

Business Support Executive, Part-time or Full-time. Up to £35,000 pro rata + 20 days holiday + bank holidays + pension + continued professional development. We are happy to consider candidates for this role on a full-time or part-time basis (a minimum of 25 hours a week). The role is mainly office based (Canterbury, CT4)but we are also happy to facilitate a small degree of home working.The Role: The Business Support Executive (Business Support Administrator, Office Manager) is a highly varied and responsible role, where as well as providing general business support, you will support the team with the delivery of multipleprojects, driving the detail to ensure service levels, client experience and business performance is optimised.The Person: The successful Business Support Executive will be a warm relationship builder who is highly organised, detail orientated, efficient and proactive, keen to take on additional responsibilities and add value to project delivery,while overseeing the smooth running of the office. Over the last 18 years they have expanded their range of services and now havespecialist teams for daylight and sunlight analysis, drainage and surface water management. They are experts in their fields working with a wide variety of clients, from private developers to government bodies, and they strive to always provide their clientswith the best advice and innovative design solutions.Business Support Executive (Business Support Administrator, Office Manager), responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and business support to ensure the smooth running of the office
  • Act as a solution orientated point of contact for clients and internal staff, by phone, email and face to face, efficiently and diplomatically dealing with any queries or issues that arise and providing excellent levels of customer service.
  • Arrange meetings, collate meeting records and track and chase action points arising.
  • Oversee the teams well-being, obtaining external HR support as required, organising team events etc.
  • Maintain the back-office system, inputting data, collating expenses, reviewing timesheets etc.
  • Proactively work to enhance business procedures and systems.
  • Support with the team with issuing invoices, client reports etc.
  • Manage office supplies and maintain supplier records, holiday records, insurance details etc.
  • General administration to support the needs of the business.
Business Support Executive (Business Support Administrator, Office Manager), skills and experience required:
  • Considerable experience in highly involved administration and the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • A warm people person and strong relationship builder, with excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing and a service delivery, customer focused approach.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating a high degree of initiative and the ability to develop and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
  • A confident, positive and diligent team player with the flexibility and pace required to work on multiple projects and prioritise accordingly in a fast paced, small team environment
  • Strong organisational and effective time management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Intelligent, numerate and IT literate with a good knowledge of MS
  • Transport / Driving license - the office is in a remote location and the bus service can be unreliable so your own transport would be highly preferable.
