Job Description

Electrical Maintenance TechnicianGlasgowCirca £31000 per annum8am - 4pmMonday to FridayWe are seeking a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Glasgow based team. The successful candidate will have completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship and possess a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, preferably withexposure to hospital maintenance. While hospital maintenance experience is desirable, it is not essential.Key Responsibilities of Electrical Maintenance Technician:

Undertake electrical maintenance duties as required.
Assist in the maintenance of building service systems and equipment.
Work on various types of systems and equipment in accordance with job requirements.
Apply technical knowledge and experience to ensure work is carried out safely.
Maintain familiarity with relevant Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM), Permit to Work procedures, and other applicable regulations.
Participate in first aid and CPR training as necessary.

Requirements:

Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
Competency in carrying out electrical maintenance duties.
Familiarity with building service systems and equipment.
Technical knowledge and experience to ensure safety in work practices.
Adequate knowledge of first aid and CPR (training can be provided if necessary).
Desirable: Familiarity with Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM) and Permit to Work procedures.
Ability to work within a team and independently.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
