Job Description

Printcraft is the online fulfilment part of Card Factory plc a retailer with over 1000 stores nationwide. Printcraft manufacturethe groups UK greetings cards, wrap and POS for stores. It is a forward-thinking business with the state ofthe art equipment operating a large site 24/7, we produce aroundbillion items per annum.The business is in an exciting phase of growth and investment to cement our success for the next number of years. It is a great time to join the company while we operate a lithographic print and finishing equipment to supply high quality, volume products.Scope and purpose of the rolePrintcraft is well-placed to take advantage of continued growth opportunities in the UK and overseas. We are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join us as our journey continues. You will be responsible for the Majority of the Online Divisions transactional accounting processes within the small finance team. You will be reporting to the Financial Controller.This position is based within our fast-paced production site in Baildon. Main Responsibilities

  • Process supplier payments and customer receipts,
  • Dealing with the online divisions transactional accounts,
  • Processing Purchase and Sales Ledger,
  • Transactional accounting assistance to the manufacturing division,
  • General administrative support to the management team,
  • Creating and verifying new supplier accounts,
  • Matching, batching and coding a high volume of invoices,
  • Dealing with queries (internally and externally)phone and email,
  • Supplier reconciliations (using Excel),
  • Ad-hoc duties to assist the Finance team.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience working with Sage 50 and or Sage 500 would be desirable;
  • Experience working in Purchase Ledger or a similar role;
  • Strong level of computer literacy - Microsoft Excel and Outlook are essential;
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills;
  • Good Self-starter and ability to meet deadlines;
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Take ownership and responsibility.
