Job Description

Shipping ClerkYou will join us as a Shipping Clerk to support all clerical functions and the successful achievement of business and client Outbound KPIs by ensuring customer orders are shipped effectively and on time, worldwide. You will also support Outbound leadership team in planning shipping activities in line with warehouse activities.Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Customers orders passed to the Outbound teams on time and in full to the warehouse schedule, meeting KPIs for Transfer Order Failure and Bin Denials
  • Daily interface with freight forwarding agents organising consignment collections to meet business Goods Issue KPIs
  • Customer shipment invoicing, maintenance of business shipping directory and SOPs, supporting adhoc queries, attend daily, weekly and monthly shipping reviews
  • Support continuous improvement activities within team
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting to site management of all despatch plans, individual and team KPIs
  • Create and maintain close professional relationships with internal and external customers
    • Shipping Clerk Requirements:
  • Relevant shipping/freight experience
  • Experience in transport distribution
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • A problem solver with good customer service
