Job Description

Network IT are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our Clients talented development team. You will be based on site 2-3 days per week in Coventry, with the rest of the week working from home. Paying between £55,000-£65,000. This is an excellentopportunity for a seasoned developer who possesses expertise in .NET Core, Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud, and CI/CD to contribute to challenging and impactful projects.Role:Senior C# DeveloperLocation:CoventryWorking Practices:2-3 days on-siteSalary:Up to £65,000Role Overview: As a Senior Developer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and deployment of scalable software applications on the .NET Core framework. You will utilise your extensive experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud to implementrobust solutions that leverage cloud services effectively. This is a hands-on technical position, requiring strong problem-solving skills, architectural knowledge, and a deep understanding of software development best practices.Responsibilities:

Maintain high standards of software quality by adhering to best practices.
Collaborate with other software developers, solution architects, business analysts and project managers to design, develop, support, and maintain business applications.
Assist in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements and the development of user stories.
Design, develop and unit test applications in accordance with established standards and architectural principles.
Participate in peer-reviews of solutions designs and related code.
Package and support the deployment of software releases.
Analyse and resolve technical and application problems.
Provide 4th line application support to business users, customers, partners, and suppliers.

Qualifications:

Proficient in designing, building, testing, and maintaining modern software applications
Experience of applying development best practices and patterns in relation to security, scalability, and performance
Contributing to technical decisions and direction in a collaborative team environment
Experience of design and development across multiple layers of an application
Minimum 5 years of experience working with .Net/.Net Core and Microsoft Technology Stack
Experience developing/operating with a commercial cloud environment, preferably MS Azure
Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Experience with microservice containerization (Docker, Kubernettes, AKS)
Experience with relational and non-relational database technologies (MSSQL, CosmosDB, MongoDB)
Microsoft .NET technology stack: C# / .NET, .NET Core, ASP.Net, Web APIs, Azure Functions
Development Operations: Working knowledge of code management tools such as Git, agile management tools, CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps
Experience working with Kafka, Azure Service Bus
Automated Testing: Unit test development, Integration test development
Web Programming: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Knowledge of React.js, Blazor (Desirable)
Agile & Software Development Best Practices including code scanning and remediation
