Job Description

New Job Opportunity: Process EngineerA chance to join a leader in the innovation and industrialization of energy storage technology. We are seeking a talented and motivated Process Engineer to contribute to the new product development and industrialization of products in Coventry.Benefits:

Position Overview:As a Process Engineer your responsibilities will include supporting production activities of pilot and R&D manufacturing lines, improving manufacturing equipment and methods, and driving innovation in techniques to reduce costs, enhance sustainability, andestablish best practices. Due to the nature of the role, this position will be based fully on-site in Coventry. The applicant MUST be able to commute to site.Key Responsibilities:
  • Research, design, and test manufacturing methods and equipment.
  • Commission and validate new equipment or modify existing equipment to prototype new manufacturing methods.
  • Analyse production metrics and identify root causes to maximize throughput.
  • Troubleshoot and recover processes using PLC, HMI, or tool management software.
  • Collaborate with vendors to propose and implement equipment modifications.
  • Generate and maintain documentation, including machine and process specifications, drawings, and control plans.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Excellent understanding of Manufacturing/Process Engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience in a volume manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong appreciation for Health, Safety, and Quality control procedures.
  • Exposure to data acquisition equipment and software.
  • Exposure to PLC Controls or other automated systems preferred.
Qualifications:
  • BSc in Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Either a BS with 5+ years of relevant experience or an MS in engineering.
