Job Description

Trailer Repairer / Body builderJob Location: AthertonSalary:From £13.50 per hour dependent on experiencePosition: Full-time, PermanentStart Date: ImmediateThe Client:Our client are a large independent commercial vehicle maintenance provider. They are one-stop solution for all transport & fleet requirements specialising in Truck & Trailer Maintenance, Commercial Vehicle Bodyshop, Service Contracts, 24hr Breakdown Service,DVSA ATF, Brake Testing, and Trailer Sales.The Role:They are looking for a skilled fabricator / welder to assist with rebuild and repairs where necessary. You will be working in the commercial body shop repair centre. This role will include working with various materials such as fibreglass, steel,aluminium and hardwood using skills including drilling, cutting, riveting, welding and grinding.Requirements:

  • You will be a skilled fabricator / welder
  • As a skilled commercial bodybuilder, you will work in a clean and efficient manner,
  • Adhering to all aspects of Health and Safety legislation
  • You will play a key role in repairing vehicle and trailer bodies to the highest level of quality in the companys body repair centre
  • Assembly of parts and experience in the use of 1k and 2k paints is preferred but not essential.
Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm 47.5hrs, 30 mins unpaid lunchbreak
  • Saturdays as business dictates
