Job Description

My client is a financial services business in Atherton. Due to the current incumbent leaving the business they are recruiting this role on a permanent basis, this is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a stable business with a fantastic and flexibleculture. As an Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for a variety of transactional duties within the finance function. This will include managing the purchase ledger from start to finish processing invoices onto the system, dealing with supplier queries andprocessing payments, as well as maintaining the sales ledger, reconciling bank accounts and supplier statements, posting journals and taking the accounts up to trial balance. There will also be other adhoc duties relating to general office administration inorder to keep the office functioning efficiently and effectively. This role will suit a candidate who has experience taking accounts up to trial balance so that you can hit the ground running with the various transactional duties in this role. You will be a team player who is keen to help other colleagues with duties outsideof your day to day where required in order to make sure the office runs smoothly. The salary on offer is paying up to £32,000 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes hybrid working, flexibility on start and finish times as well as a generous holiday entitlement with a fantastic office culture in a stableorganisation.
