Job Description

Role: Customer Service CoordinatorDuration: 6-month fixed-term with potential for longerLocation: Manchester (M29) with ParkingHours: Monday to Friday (flexible between 7am - 5.30pm)Salary: £24-27kWe are currently recruiting a customer service coordinator to join a fast-paced PLC business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and fun team.The key accountabilities of the role are:

  • Telephone and email contact to and from customers
  • Timely response to customers enquiries, queries and complaints in an efficient and professional manner
  • Proactive planning and tracking orders to completion
  • Cost effective dispatch planning of all customer orders through active liaison with commercial, operations and transport teams
  • Scheduling and rescheduling orders whilst utilising haulage fleet effectively
  • Compiling and maintaining accurate records as required
  • Communicating effectively with commercial and production teams and also haulage partners
The key skills required for this role are:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent IT knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure with and be adaptable in a fast-changing environment
  • A good eye for detail with excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work with a small team
  • Be able to work on own initiative, but also to take direction when required
