Job Description

Part Time | Flexible Hours | Salary £26k pro rataOur client, based in Ashburton, is seeking to recruit a Payroll and Accounts Administrator to join their Finance team. Your role will be to undertake the end-to-end inputting and processing of monthly in-house payroll and assist with all aspects of the daily accounting for purchase ledger and finance administration.This is a permanent part-time role working 21 hours per week with flexible hours and days.Your responsibilities include:

  • Process new starters and leavers for payroll purposes
  • Process payroll deductions, ad hoc payments, tax code changes and generate P45s, P46sand P60s
  • Deal with correspondence from HMRC
  • Deal with supplier / and expense payment queries
  • Input supplier invoices and credit notes into the purchase ledger system
Your skills/qualifications include:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in end-to-end payroll administration
  • Experience working in a Finance team with exposure to purchase ledger
  • Experience in using computerised payroll software, including Sage, Iris-Earnie, Miracle, Sirius, or Xero
  • Excellent planning and organising skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
