For this role in particular we are looking for someone with the following qualifications, skills and experience;

Experience as an Engineer in a manufacturing environment in improving processes.
Project Management
Exposure to leading managing and developing teams
Some continuous improvement methodology experience
Degree in a relevant engineering discipline e.g. chemical engineering, metallurgy, manufacturing engineering

What will I be doing in the roleThe roles objective is to improve production performance through identifying and leading projects and improvement activities which will develop the plants process capability in a variety of operational areas depending on the analysis of losses whilst ensuringproduct quality is maintained and improved. In this role you will;

Develop data structures and implement equipment process measurements, data collection/management procedures and data analysis to lead improvement projects in current processes.
Use data analysis tools and methods to interpret data collected

to identify improvements and solutions to problems

To adhere to all safety policies and regulations, while working within a safe system of work, including Permit To Work, Personal Protection Equipment, Working at Height, Isolation, Risk Assessment etc.
The adherence to all environmental policies and regulations
Communicating changes to new work practices / equipment liaising with department managers supervisors and operators
Support and work with Supervision and Operators to improve current processes and develop a culture of continuous improvement
