Electrical Maintenance EngineerSaint Gobain PAMMelton MowbrayAre you someone who is passionate about delivering a professional maintenance service in industrial environmentsAt our PAM manufacturing and forging facility in Melton Mowbray, we are looking for an electrically bias Maintenance Engineer to work with a multi-skilled team, tasked with ensuring continuous, fault free manufacturing.As Maintenance Engineer, you will be delivering scheduled and periodic plant maintenance activities while responding to plant faults and machinery break downs as required. You will be applying your extensive fault finding skills in electro/mechanical systemsand applying root cause analysis tools to identify solutions to plant failures, improving equipment availability and reliability. Safety is at the forefront of everything we do and you will play a key role in ensuring your safety and the safety of your colleaguesthrough the application of safe systems of work. This will include job risk assessments and the use of safe working practices such as LOTO and isolation.PAM is one of 30 Saint-Gobain brands, and is the premier supplier of ductile iron and cast iron products. Our product range is extensive and includes; cast iron piping, fittings, valves, drainage systems, water/sewer pipelines, access coversand gratings. We supply to some of the UKs key utilities, telecoms, highways, civil engineering, construction, and housing companies.This is a full time position working on a 4 week shift system. The shift patterns include mornings, afternoons, nights, one weekend per month, and one week where you get 6 days off! Further details can be supplied on application.What were looking for:

Completed an Electrical Maintenance/Engineering Apprenticeship or qualified by other means with industrial experience, qualified to at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
Familiar with organisational safety requirements e.g. Risk Assessments. Isolation & Permits to Work.
At least 4 years experience within an industrialised manufacturing environment
Familiar with all types of AC/DC motors and associated control systems
Extensive knowledge of Inverters with the ability to fit alternative systems when required
Sound knowledge of 415V, 3 phase, 240V single phase electrical installations
Ability to read and fault find using electrical and schematic drawings
Fault finding and route cause analysis skills in electrical systems.
