Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Semi-Skilled Operator to join a business specialising infabricating, installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of pipework. The successful candidatewill play a vital role in supporting a team of skilled technicians, contributing to the successfulcompletion of projects. This position offers excellent opportunities for career growth within thecompany, providing a stable and rewarding work environment.Responsibilities:• Assist colleagues in fabricating, installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of pipework,including but not limited to plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping systems.• Follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient workenvironment.• Support the preparation and set-up of work sites, including clearing debris, organising tools, andpositioning equipment.• Assist with measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes and fittings, ensuring accuracy andprecision.• Assist in the installation of pipes, valves, and other components using appropriate tools andtechniques.• Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites as required.• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, ensuring tools and equipment are properlystored.• Collaborate effectively with team members to accomplish project goals and objectives.• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or project issues to supervisors promptly.Requirements:• Possession of a valid CSCS card is essential.• Have a valid driving license.• Prior experience in a similar role or basic knowledge of pipework fabrication, installation, repair,or maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour in various environments.• Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude towards learning and personal development.• Ability to follow instructions accurately.• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality work standards.• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.• A positive attitude towards health and safety.Working Hours and Benefits:• This position is a full-time, Monday to Friday role.• Working hours are from 08:00 to 16:30 (Monday-Thursday) / 08:00 to 14:00 (Friday).• Competitive salary and benefits package.• Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company
