Sales Manager (Car Supermarket)Salary: Basic: £40,000, OTE: £75,000Location: Wolverhampton, WV13Hours: 40 per week including evenings and weekendsCarShop (part of the Sytner group) is the UKs largest omnichannel car supermarket. We have ambitious growth plans that will see us double in size inthe next few years.In 2021 we were named Glassdoors #35 best company to work for in the UK.Are you ready to grab the wheel and start your engine on a new sales careerWHAT WILL I BE DOINGThis role is a store-based role, you will lead the sales team and be responsible for the day-to-day people management. You will hold motivational sales meetings to set the team up for success, manage team performance through, 1-2-1s, coaching sessions andperformance plans and train and develop the team to identify talent.You will also ensure that the customer sales journey is always followed and be the FCA supervisor for the store. Work proactively with the other senior leaders in the store to ensure exceptional performance and overall good carma is achieved.Finally, you will be responsible for the store should the Head of Business be absent.WHAT DO I NEED TO BE SECCESSFULYou will need to have significant experience leading a busy target-driven team in the retail world, it would be amazing if you had an automotive or car sales background.
