Job Description

Cordius are working with an industry-leading manufacturer who is one of the largest stockists of bearings, linear motion systems, power transmission products and maintenance equipment in Europe. They are looking for a Sales Advisor to join their team.The right candidate will have a full training plan to work through and develop their skill set.The salary and benefits package are negotiable and will be discussed at interview level, taking into consideration the level of experience.Working hours:40 Hours per week 8am - 5pm Mon-FriJob Purpose:Responsible for providing excellent customer service and always working to company standards.Responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming sales inquiries by telephone and e-mail, including verifying stock levels and pricing using the companys database
  • Utilizing a corporate database to process sales orders.
  • Responding to consumer inquiries by phone, email, and web-based sourcing tools
  • When necessary, sourcing products from other vendors
  • Constantly present a professional image to clients and co-workers, while promoting the organisation and its products and services in a positive light.
  • Undertake, upon request from the Branch Manager or Firm Directors, other reasonable duties and obligations not listed above in support of the success and ongoing performance of the department and company.
Key Skills Needed:
  • Experience in Sales is necessary and the capacity to work under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • The ability to organise, prioritise, multitask, be flexible, and negotiate
  • Willingness to learn and flexibility in their working arrangements
  • Knowledge in engineering and related products
  • Enthusiastic, driven, and sales-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Commercial awareness i.e., good understanding of sales procedures, net & gross profit as well as purchasing costs & procedures
