This is why we have this exceptional opportunity for a General Tradesperson to lead on the maintenance needs of the property, including house and collections, visitor experience & welcome and gardeningteams. What youll be doing Maintaining the historic fabric, building services and visitor infrastructure of National Trust properties as part of the Facilities Management Team, developing a detailed knowledge of these assets and ensuring that correct materials and methods are employedat all times.You will be familiar and competent with traditional methods of building and be capable of making sound judgment on the extent and method of work for both reactive and planned programmes of work. Previous experience in construction, carpentry, general maintenance.
Good organisational skills.
Ability to efficiently manage own time and workload.
Able to work within a team – both internally and alongside other trades where relevant.
Good communication skills required.
