Summary The North Devon Grasslands project is striving to restore wildflower rich places across North Devon. What its like to work here This role is based at Arlington Court. In this role youll report to the Project Co-ordinator. The role will focus on the creation, monitoring and management of species rich grasslands across North Devon. Grasslands are a cornerstone of a variety of habitatsfrom temperate rainforest and lowland deciduous woodland to maritime grassland and heathland.Investing in youWe want you to learn, discover and develop your career. What youll be doing As Assistant Ranger, youll undertake different task in countryside management focused around the North Devon Grasslands project. From botanical surveys of grassland and seed harvesting to machinery maintenance and engagement events.It will also includenature conservation working to make habitats better for wildlife, supporting volunteers, and helping to deliver activities that strengthen peoples connections with the outdoors.As no two days are the same, the nature of the role means a flexible approach is crucial to ensure the right level of support is given across the site.
