Teaching Personnel is working with a SEN school based in Nuneaton (CV10) who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a KS3 pupil with Social & Emotional needs, in particluar high anxiety.Due to his high anxiety, the young person is not in a full school timetable within the classroom and requires support outside of the classroom, as well as supporting in activities off-site. It is essential that you are able to drive, and happy to work with the student off-site.The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people with SEN; in particular Social, Emotional and Mental Health. You must have strong behaviour management. There is no specific qualifications needed, but a adpatable, patient and understanding personality is essential. Ideally they would be looking for a male to support the young man.This role is full-time, and is likely to continue for the full academic year.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
