School CaretakerBishops Stortford£19,312 - £19,698Full Time - 37 Hours per weekA lovely secondary school in the Bishops Stortford area are looking for a school caretaker to join the team, you will be reporting to the school Site Manager.You will be required to work 8am until 4pm with one week in four your will be required to work 12pm until 8pm and a Saturday with the following Monday in lieu.Job Description

Cleaning of office spaces, toilets and classrooms.

Cleaning of bodily fluids

Scrubbing floors using machine

Provision run - toilet rolls, towels, water etc

Graffiti removal

Litter clearing

Deliver porterage to relevant area

Preparing for school events and exams

Fire Log book and equipment (training will be given)

Ensure COSSH records and material data sheets are maintained and kept up to date

Ensure Asbestos records are maintained and filled in correctly

Opening and locking of school

Setting intruder alarms

Closure of windows

Completion of daily security locking up check list

Re-set Fire Alarms

Operate CCTV system as required

Keys - logged in and out

Ensure lost keys are reported immediately to the Site Manager

Repairs

General Maintenance

School Open Evenings & Events

Liaise with Facilities manager for diary of events

Ensure all areas are clean and tidy

Car-parking - attend where required

Erection of rope and signage as requested

Liaise with the Marketing and Promotions Co-ordinator on facilities set up etc. and ensure all requirements are met
