Job Description

Job DescriptionTo manage all elements of parts identification and ordering for a Key Customer. This will involve identifying components across a range of vehicles/trailers, working with the technicians on site to allocate parts, invoicing and uploading to workshop managementsoftware to streamline current processes.Key Accountabilities and Expectations

  • Ensure the parts requirements of the customer are met on a daily basis
  • Source products from local internal branches and suppliers/Main Dealers if necessary
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate spend and drive through a single source where possible
  • Work closely with the local branch network to minimise downtime for the customer
  • Effectively manage the on-site stores ensuring a clean, safe and tidy work space
Job Level overview and AccountabilitiesProcess
  • Utilisation of Dealer-level parts lookup software, in addition to internal invoicing software
  • The allocation and upload of parts to job cards using workshop management software (full training provided)
  • Management of old units, returns and warranty claims from point of return to the credit for the customer
  • Carry out periodic stock takes in the on-site storeroom, along with stock cleanses to remove obsolete parts
  • Off site training will be provided prior to role commencement, to ensure full understanding of processes and systems
Financial
  • Working within agreed pricing structures and sourcing the correct product to provide value and whole life cost for the customer
  • Follow up the credits for returns and warranty to ensure minimal invoice queries
People
  • Develop and build the relationship between the local internal staff and the customer
  • Maintain strong 2-way communication with the workshop technicians and business owner
  • Feedback areas for improvement to key members of staff across both businesses
