Job Description

Join us on the Journey... National Express are looking to recruit two experienced Vehicle Allocators on a part time basis, based at our Acocks Green Garage. The successful candidates will complete the allocation of correct Buses to Running Boards prior to public service.Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, hours 00:00 - 08:00What youll do:

Full Knowledge of Vehicle types held at the garage
Recognise the Importance of `Right bus – Right Route
Communication between Operations and Engineering departments essential
Act as a liaison between Operations and Engineering to ensure the correct buses are allocated to
Liaise with engineering Supervisor regarding buses under repair
Assist in vehicle changeovers
Reduce Engineering and Operations lost mileage where possible

What youll need:

Full PCV license - as driving on the road will be required
Knowledge of the bus Industry an advantage
Good general standard of Education
Self motivated and able to work without supervision
Have a problem solving attitude
Be able to work towards and meet strict deadlines
