Cover Supervisor - BirminghamSTART DATE: AS SOON AS POSSIBLELOCATION: BirminghamDAYS AND TIMES: MON - FRI - 08:30-15:30LENGTH OF CONTRACT: UNTIL END OF ACADEMIC YEAR.REED Education is currently working alongside a Secondary School based in Birmingham that is looking for a Cover Supervisor to join with them as soon as possible. This role would be ideal for someone who has just graduated from University and wouldlike to train as a Teacher in the future.The successful candidate will have a passion for improving outcomes for young people and as a graduate be a positive role model promoting the need to do well in education.The role of cover supervisor is an exciting and engaging role where no two days are the same. The main function of a cover supervisor is to cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring that the same standards of teaching and learningare maintained. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing any challenging behaviour, be self-motivated as well a friendly confident individual. Be a University Graduate
Have a basic understanding of the national curriculum
Have strong written and oral communication skills
Be dedicated to establishing positive relationships with students
Be hard working and passionate about working in education
Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to pay £38 for a new check to be done.
