Job Description

Primary School Teacher - BirminghamReed Education is currently supporting a Primary School who are looking to appoint a qualified primary school teacher to start with them as soon as possible. Initially the role will be on a temporary basis for the remainder of the academic year, howeverthere may be the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.The school based in Birmingham is a two form entry, which prides itself on providing a happy and caring environment for each of its students. The school sitting at the very heart of its bustling and lively community harbours a "family" environment, and parentsare often found to be attending an array of different events held by the school throughout the academic year.The school are looking for an individual who can inspire and motivate students using exciting and innovative teaching methods. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of raising attainment standards and be able to create an outstanding learningenvironment.   • QTS
  • Have experience of teaching in KS2.
  • Have a proven track record of strong classroom management.
  • Someone who can use their own initiative, be friendly with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have experience of planning and assessments.
  • Be able to set clear boundaries and set high expectations.
  • Have experience of working with EAL students and being able to adapt lessons so they can access the same standard of learning as their peers.
  • Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to pay £38 for a new check to be done
