Want to be part of our Hospiscare at Home team in Mid Devon Health Care AssistantsHospiscare Band 3: £20,06121,597 per annum pro rata 22.5 - 37.5 hours/week, 3 - 5 days over 7 including rotation to nights Our Hospiscare at Home teams have a first class reputation for delivering outstanding evidence-based palliative nursing care and clinical advice. As we set up this service for the Mid Devon area, we have fantastic opportunities for Health Care Assistantsto join the team based in Okehampton. You will work alongside registered nursing staff in the multi-disciplinary team, helping to provide holistic and person-centred care and support for patients with complex life-limiting illnesses.You will have experience of delivering care in a clinical setting, alongside awareness of the complexities of working with individuals at times of distress and conflict. Some experience of working in specialist palliative care would be an advantage. Youwill work equally well on your own initiative, managing a delegated workload and escalating issues as appropriate, or co-operatively as part of the team. Your highly developed communication skills will also be essential to be effective in this role.You will work within the community setting throughout Mid Devon and participate in the seven day service provision.
